Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor Adventure Elopement- Brookings, Oregon.

K and E’s Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor Adventure Elopement day began before sunrise. We met at the trailhead in the pre-dawn darkness outside of Brookings, Oregon. Right away we geared up with headlamps and lanterns and headed out on our hike. We started the morning with a first look. After laying eyes on each other K and E listened to their song as they watched the sunrise. After that we ventured on to find the perfect place for them to say their vows. They exchanged vows with the rocky Oregon Coast as their backdrop. After their vow exchange they popped the champagne (sparkling water because LNT!!) and we headed to our next adventure of the day.

In the early afternoon we met at Jedidiah Smith State Park in the Redwoods for a short hike and their cake cutting. We wandered the grove of these ancient giants in search of banana slugs and snails before finding the perfect spot for their cake cutting. After enjoying the homemade cheesecake K had made, K+E enjoyed an intimate picnic among the old-growth Redwood trees.

After an afternoon well spent in the Redwoods we headed back up to the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor for an evening golden hour hike to Secret Beach. Where they explored the beach while the sun set and we rounded out the day with some blue hour lantern photos.

K+E explored 2 of my favorite places within the Samuel H Boardman Scenic Corridor but this area offers many location options depending on whether you’re looking for a hike, a pulloff, tidepooling, or coastal views.
