Couples Photo Session at Horsetail Falls in Oregon

When L+B reached out for a couples photo session to celebrate their anniversary, I knew it had to be somewhere that captured their adventurous spirit. These two are all about hiking, climbing, and exploring, so Horsetail Falls in the Columbia River Gorge was the perfect match! The Gorge serves up some killer views and has a magical, wild energy totally in sync with L+B’s vibe.

We kicked off L+B’s couples session at Horsetail Falls, soaking in one of my favorite waterfalls. The weather was supposed to be overcast (classic PNW vibes) but as we moved towards Government Cove for the last portion of the session, the sun decided to make an appearance, gifting us with a gorgeous sunset that wrapped everything in a glow. We incorporated a mix of intimate close-ups and scenic shots that captured them in the stunning landscape. Horsetail Falls really is a gem for couples looking to combine adventure and romance—it has that raw, untamed energy that brings out such authentic moments, making a perfect backdrop for these two.
